Coral is a startup at the intersection of climate and fintech that makes sustainable building upgrades like heat pumps, batteries, and EV chargers more affordable and accessible. We partner with the HVAC and electrical contractors installing these energy-efficient upgrades, helping them instantly access rebates, tax credits, and low-cost financing to lower upfront costs.
We’re seeking a customer-obsessed Commercial Operations Lead. You’ll spearhead all things growth, including Customer Success, GTM Partnerships, Sales, and Operations, working closely with our CEO, CTO, and founding team. This role is based in NYC (hybrid) and will require some travel to visit customers and partners.
What you’ll do
Customer success (50%)
- Serve as a trusted partner and advisor for our contractor customers, helping them get the most out of Coral and grow their business
- Build our customer success playbook and lead key CS initiatives, including onboarding, training, and ongoing customer engagement
- Influence the product roadmap by deeply understanding customer needs and pain points, synthesizing feedback for our product team, and guiding product prioritization
Sales and GTM partnerships (25%)
- Support customer demos, including designing collateral and pitch materials
- Work closely with CEO to optimize GTM playbook, establish and track sales metrics, and maximize conversion
- Identify and prioritize industry partners, and own relationships with key partners to drive customer acquisition at scale
Operations (25%)
- Collaborate with product team to manage verification and filing of energy-efficiency incentives
- Support CEO to optimize reporting and loan management processes
What you’ll bring
- 5+ years experience, with much of that experience in a B2B customer-facing role
- Experience in a fast-paced, startup environment is a plus
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, especially emotional intelligence and empathy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
